Bird Flight II
Description of various types of bird flight: direct flight, undulating flight and hovering flight. The direct flight consists of moving the wings as if they were oars to advance through the air. In the undulating flight bird rises to a great height, then rushes down and with the impulse of the fall, resumes the flight. The hovering flight is typical of hummingbirds, which flap their wings at high speed.
