The bicycle is a means of transport that reached its current form in the 19th century. In 1885 it already had pedals, chain drives, brakes and wheels of equal size. Track and mountain bikes appeared in the 20th century. Motorcycles, equipped with an explosion engine, are halfway between the bicycle and the car. Created in 1902, the scooter and the sidecar are two very successful motorcycle variants. This infographic belongs to the Transportation series of the Ábaco collection, which also includes the original titles: Beginnings of Land Transport, The Train, The Automobile and Maritime Transport.
