The Brachiosaurus (Brachiosaurus altithorax) was a huge herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the Upper Jurassic period, 154 million years ago. Its arms were longer than its legs and it was provided with a powerful and muscular chest, which allowed it to hold its long and strong neck. Its enormous vertebrae were reinforced to support its weight and keep its tail elevated. His powerful hind legs were well spaced to provide firm support for his bulky body. His hands had lost their fingers, save for the thumb claws, which he used for defense. This infographic from the Ábaco collection is part of the Dinosaurs series, which also includes those titled: Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Gigantosaurus, Pteranodon and Triceratops.
