Colossal Works
The architecture of ancient Egypt is characterized by its monumentality. Among the most important constructions are the pyramids and the temples. The tombs of various pharaohs were built as pyramids and the largest are those attributed to Seneferu, to Cheops and to Khafre. Likewise, they stood out for the temples dedicated to the gods, such as those of Karnak or Abu Simbel, noted for their great symbolic impact, their size and for the great harmony and functionality of their spaces.
