Presentation of mouthparts of insects, other than chewing jaws, specifically those of the mosquito and those of the fly. The female mosquito sucks the blood of mammals, which will then serve her to lay her eggs. The fly can eat solids because its mouthparts allows it to soften food before sucking it with its trunk.
