The book Tempo de Ciências (Science Time) of the eighth year of Basic Education II, reproduced the infographics: Células-tronco (Stem cells) and O osso (The bone). The style and layout of the text in the original infographics and some graphic elements, were modified and removed in favor of Editora do Brasil's needs. The two images included references to the publication from a specialist in the field. Stem Cell pages: 78-79 Bone pages: 234-235
The phylogenetic tree, presented as Árvore da vida (The Tree of Life), is one of the many works developed by Infographics90, that Editora do Brasil included in its Basic Education II manuals, an educational grade that include students from 6th to 9th year. With the intention of introducing complementary visual material that would facilitate the understanding for students at this level, the São Paulo publishing house introduced in its textbooks, the section Fique por dentro (Look inside), dedicated exclusively to infographic resources. The illustration of the phylogenetic tree, which shows the links that living beings on the planet maintain among themselves according to their evolution, was published in the 7th year book Tempo de Ciências (Science Time). It included exercises for the students. Page(s): 46-47
